Game 12: Nebraska 32 Michigan 28
For one brief day, Nebraska was once again the first highlight on every sports program and the talk of the nation.
Nebraska one win away
The Nebraska volleyball team easily beat Santa Clara 3-0 to move on to the National Championship vs. Washington. A scenario that has been talked about all season has come true with Nebraska taking on Washington. Both teams have won every game in their 4 matches in the NCAA tourney. Santa Clara, who was the first VB team ever to get to the final 4 as an unseeded team, was no match for the Huskers. The finals will be Saturday @ 5pm on ESPN2 and your favorite Pinnacle Sports Network radio station.
Mr. Wilson and Mr. T, our resident VB “experts” are on the scene in San Antonio, feel free to chime in with your first hand accounts of the big red blowout.
Final Four Bound
In front of almost 30,000 fans over the weekend the Nebraska volleyball team qualified for the final 4 in San Antonio in convincing fashion.
Game 11: Nebraska 30 Colorado 3
I apologize for no report on the KSU game. It was a great, strange, weird game. The Huskers were very lucky to get out of the KSU game with a win. 2 safties against us and 3 total in the game? A blocked extra point...a blocked FG...a game winning fg by a freshman...just weird. Nebraska was supposed to win and they did. It wasn’t in convincing fashion but they got the job done. A bye week and then....CU.

The boys get a shot now at the title. We pick it up in the semis on the gridiron.
High School Tourney Time Part 2
The ladies go at it again. But this time it’s not on the diamond it’s on either side of the net.
Game 8: Oklahomo 31 Nebraska 24
Nebraska continues to come out slow and the clock runs out on another comeback attempt.
Game 7: Mizzou 41 Nebraska 24
Score look familiar? Yeah it should. Remember 2003 in Mizzou? Look it up. It’s the same. Really they could have put in the 2003 tape and the only way you would have known it was different is that the ‘03 game was at night while the ‘05 game was during the day.
Game 6: Nebraska 23 Baylor 14
Nebraska get’s it done in their first road test of the season.
High School Tourney Time
Today begins the first of the fall high school tournaments. Softball starts today in Omaha at Seymore Smith Park.
Game 5: Texas Tech 34 Nebraska 31
Nebraska finishes it’s homestand with a heartbreaker. But don’t you hang your head Husker Nation, there is a lot to be proud about.
Nebraska-Missouri
We’re not talking football folks, it’s all about the ladies.
Game 4: Nebraska 27 Iowa St. 20 (2OT)
Nebraska got a very good win against Iowa St. on Saturday. And don’t down play going to overtime with Iowa St. who usually is Nebraska’s whipping boy when it comes to playing in Lincoln. This isn’t your grandfathers Iowa St. people.

I haven’t posted in a while and I have not been giving credit to the best team that plays in the state of Nebraska.
