Lucky Seven
I’m impressed, Gateway. Seven new tenants are coming soon. That’s an impressive figure for a mall could use some good news after a couple years of declining occupancy. Even more importantly, two of the retailers are biggies: Dress Barn and a Toys R Us “Holiday Express” store. Then there’s Victory Ride Skate Park. Really, a skate park inside the mall? I’m having a very difficult time imagining how that will be successful.
Now if Gateway could just fill the Steve & Barry’s space. Personally I vote for something along the lines of a Dave and Buster’s or Amazing Pizza Machine. I could be wrong, but my gut tells me a large entertainment and dining center could be very successful in that location. Who’s with me?

I imagine the indoor skate park will be something like the Ray’s indoor MTB parks but for skateboards. (http://www.raysmtb.com/) Come to think of it a Rays would be awesome here.

I recently had my first Dave and Buster’s experience in KC (at the Legends) and it was awesome. I’d love to see one here, but not sure if the market is large enough.

I’d love a Dave and Busters, but I think a Pizza Machine would do better here. Then again, college town....

It will always be Gateway in my vocabulary. It was there long before there was a Westfield (I think - don’t quote me).

Joanne read in Vogue magazine that a milk bath does wonders for your skin. So she wrote a note asking the milkman to leave 100 bottles of milk for her next delivery.
Eddie, the milkman, saw the note, and thought there must be an error in the number of zeros. Therefore he knocked on the door and asked Joanne, to clarify the order. Joanne confirmed that she wants 100 bottles to fill her bath. The milkman then asked, ‘Do you want it pasteurized’ Joanne replied ‘No, just up to my neck’
